An MoU of Joint Cooperation worth 398,168$ was Signed between ANDMA and the HIHAO Organisation

Today, in morning, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Executive Director of the Hand in Hand Organization (HIHAO), Dr. Ahmad Kamran Hekmati, in his office and signed the MoU for joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Alhaj Turabi Sahb emphasized that his policy is to facilitate aid delivery for organizations and provide them with the necessary conditions to carry out their activities. He added that he strives to ensure their tasks are completed on time. He also urged organizations to allocate a larger portion of their budgets to preventive projects and to carry out their activities swiftly and with transparency.
Subsequently, Dr. Ahmad Kamran Hekmati, the Executive Director of the Hand in Hand Organization, presented the details of the MoU. He stated that the project includes programs for providing cash assistance to families, supplying food items, and distributing improved vegetable seeds and agricultural tools to farmers in five districts of Herat province.
It is worth noting that the organization will distribute $398,168 in four phases, providing $168 per family to 1,277 families in the districts of Pashtun Zarghun, Ghoryan, Gulran, Obe, and Kushk. Additionally, 1,700 farmers in these districts will receive improved vegetable seeds and agricultural tools valued at $50 each.
