An MoU was Signed Between ANDMA and REHA Institute Valued at $40,563

Today in afternoon, His Excellency Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Hamidyan, Executive Director of the REHA Institute, at his office and signed a joint cooperation memorandum.
At the beginning of the meeting, Alhaj Turabi Sahb warmly welcomed the REHA Institute delegation, stating that Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority provides necessary facilities to enable organizations to implement their projects seamlessly. He urged institutions to execute their projects swiftly and transparently.
Subsequently, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Hamidyan, Executive Director of the REHA Institute, provided details about their project and expressed appreciation for the Authority’s efficiency in signing memoranda with organizations. He emphasized that the project would be implemented in full coordination with the officials of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties signed a cooperation memorandum valued at $40,563. According to the agreement, 60 families in the villages of "Sad Barg" and "Tatar" in the Narkh District of Maidan Wardak Province will receive agricultural packages and equipment, including one 100-amp battery, one 300-watt solar panel, one 12-volt charge controller, one wood-burning heater, and one fruit and vegetable drying machine.
Additionally, a training program on climate change-related events will be conducted for local residents, and the distribution of equipment from the market to the families’ homes will be managed by the project.
