H.E. Ghulam Bahaudin Jailani had a 5-day visit to western provinces of Herat, Badghis, and Ghor

The aim of the mission was to visit the natural disaster-prone areas, to meet with the local authorities, representatives of the disaster affected and ND+Conflict induced IDPs and to consider informed mobilization of resources to each province.
H.E. Ghulam Bahaudin Jailani heading a delegation including Mr. Matiulah Safi, Deputy Minister for Finance & Administration met with the governors, MPs, members of the provincial councils, representatives of natural disaster and conflict-induced IDPs and natural disaster-affected people in each province and took part in the distribution of humanitarian aid as well.
H.E. State Minister in separate meetings with concerned authorities, MPs, Members of provincial councils, representatives of disaster-affected & displaced people in Herat, Badghis and Ghor emphasized the importance of raising public awareness and implementation of disaster risk mitigation projects.
H.E. Ghulam Bahaudin Jailani also chaired the National Disaster Management Committees in each province which apart from members of the committee, were attended by representatives of national and international humanitarian agencies.
In the sideline of mission Excellency Ghulam Bahaudin Jailani along with Mr. Sayed Abdulwaheed Qatali, the governor of Herat province inaugurated Shaheed Abdulwahid Razi hospital which its construction was instructed by a presidential decree upon the 1st official record of the Covid-19 case in the province.
