The Acting Head of ANDMA, after inspecting administrative affairs in Nemroz Province, visited the Farah Province Directorate of Disaster Management and met with the Deputy Governor of the province

On Sunday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, arrived in Farah Province as part of his tour to several provinces aimed at improving the administrative operations of the authority’s provincial directorates. He visited the Farah Province Directorate of Disaster Management and reviewed its operational processes.
Honorable Turabi Sahb met individually with each staff member of the directorate, attentively listening to their challenges, suggestions, and recommendations. He motivated all employees to deliver timely and effective services. Additionally, he inspected the authority’s warehouse in Farah Province and provided necessary guidance to the relevant officials on the storage, organization and distribution of food and non-food items to those in need, emphasizing the importance of maintaining order and discipline. He also oversaw the delivery of all legislative documents to the provincial directorates, ensuring their proper comprehension, review by the relevant director, implementation and systematic archiving.
Furthermore, Honorable Turabi Sahb thoroughly monitored the effective use of all published materials and the progress of ongoing projects in the province. It is noteworthy that some time ago, teams were sent from the central office to evaluate and monitor the operational processes across various provinces. These teams identified certain shortcomings, which were communicated to all provincial directorates through a unified letter from the Acting Head, along with instructions to address them. During this visit, Honorable Turabi Sahb conducted a comprehensive review of the service delivery processes in Farah Province to ensure these deficiencies were rectified.
The purpose of the Acting Head’s visit was to collect feedback, challenges and suggestions from provincial staff, organize offices, create an efficient work environment, establish full coordination with provincial authorities, enhance document archiving, construct standardized warehouses, address shortcomings and implement preventive projects.
During his visit, Honorable Turabi Sahb also met with the Deputy Governor of Farah Province, Honorable Mullah Abdulkarim Jihadyar. In this meeting, both parties discussed disaster management strategies, timely assistance to affected individuals and the implementation of preventive projects to mitigate risks.
In conclusion, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority urged the directorate’s staff to treat clients respectfully, perform their duties promptly and without delay, use public resources responsibly, adhere to administrative principles, and serve the people diligently while leveraging their professional expertise for the country’s progress. Additionally, he distributed cash assistance to the staff.
