Aid Distributed to 1,017 Earthquake-Affected Families in Dewa-Gul Valley

A joint committee of the Kunar Province Disaster Management Directorate and the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs, with support from the Amie Foundation, Aslo Foundation, OCHR Organization, Nasir Charity Foundation, Turkey’s IFAM Organization, Asil Charity Foundation, Nangial Charity Foundation, and BGK Organization, distributed food and non-food aid to 1,017 families in various villages of the Dewa-Gul Valley in Chawkay District.
During this process, the joint committee of the Disaster Management Directorate and the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs provided one tent to each of 125 families. The OCHR Organization distributed one hygiene kit to each of 182 families. The Amie Foundation provided five blankets to each of 300 families and one tent to each of 100 severely affected families. The Nasir Charity Foundation supplied flour, rice, beans, oil, and green tea to 200 families. Turkey’s IFAM Organization provided $200 to each of 19 families. The Asil Charity Foundation distributed two blankets, one tent, 12 meters of carpet, 50 kilograms of flour, 15 liters of oil, and 1 kilogram of green tea to each of 30 families. The Nangial Charity Foundation provided 5,000 Afghanis to each of 50 families. The BGK Organization supplied rice, oil, beans, and sugar to each of 100 families. The Aslo Foundation distributed 4,000 Afghanis in cash assistance to each of the families of 15 martyrs.
It is worth noting that the entire process was conducted under the supervision of committees formed under the umbrella of the Kunar Province Disaster Management Directorate and the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs.
