In the Dewa Gul Valley of Kunar Province, food, non-food items and cash assistance were distributed to the families of 887 martyrs, injured individuals and those affected by the recent earthquake

The Directorate of Disaster Management of Kunar Province, in collaboration with the Directorate of Social Affairs, along with their working partners, cooperating organizations, charitable foundations and philanthropists, distributed food, non-food items and cash aid to the families of 887 martyrs, injured individuals, and those affected in various villages of Diwa Gul Valley in Kunar Province.
As part of this initiative, the Panah Charitable Foundation distributed 4,000 Afghanis to each of 68 families; the Youth Council of Lachgali Village distributed 1,500 Afghanis to each of 54 families; Haji Abdullah provided 7,000 Afghanis to each of the 13 heirs of martyrs; and a businessman distributed 3,000 Afghanis to each of the 22 heirs of martyrs.
Additionally, the Usman bin Affan (RA) Society distributed 25 kilograms of rice, 5 liters of oil, and 50 kilograms of flour to 150 families; a German charitable organization provided each family with 5 liters of oil, 5 kilograms of rice, 1 kilogram of salt, 1 kilogram of tea, and 1 kilogram of chocolate; the First Bank of Small Villages distributed two blankets and one 9-meter carpet to each of 190 families; the ARCI organization provided 100 kilograms of flour, 9.1 kilograms of oil, 12.5 kilograms of lentils, and 1 kilogram of salt to each of 83 families; the ACTED organization distributed a kitchen package to each of 97 families; Haji Jamshed provided flour, rice, oil, and sugar to each of 50 families; and the youth of Toronto, Canada, distributed 435 pairs of slippers and 335 sets of clothing for women, men, and children to 90 families.
The recipient families expressed their satisfaction and gratitude to the Directorate of Disaster Preparedness and Response, the governmental authorities, and the supporting organizations.
