The General Director of ANDMA and the Head of the Turkish Red Crescent in Afghanistan had a Meeting

Today, in morning, the General Director of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Head of the Turkish Red Crescent in Afghanistan, Mr. Naeemullah Karimi, at his office.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and stated that the goal is to transform Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority into a robust, impartial and humanitarian institution, ensuring its services reach all citizens of the country. He emphasized that significant efforts have already been made in this regard, but much more work remains to be done.
Additionally, Alhaj Turabi Sahb noted that the authority aims to systematically recruit and train volunteers in both the capital and the provinces. He mentioned that volunteers have already been recruited and trained in Kabul and this initiative will, God willing, be extended to other provinces. He stressed the need for full cooperation from relevant institutions to support this important endeavor.
The Head of the Turkish Red Crescent in Afghanistan, Mr. Naeemullah Karimi, expressed special appreciation for Alhaj Turabi Sahb’s efforts and highlighted that significant improvements have been observed in the authority’s operations, with administrative processes becoming notably more efficient.
Mr. Karimi further stated that discussions will be held with the Turkish Embassy, TIKA and JICA to foster coordination and strengthen ties between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and Turkey’s AFAD agency.
