The joint committee of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs of Kunar Province distributed food and non-food items to 612 heirs of martyrs and injured individuals affected by the earthquake

The joint committee, with support from the Khair al-Nasr Institute, Nasir Charity Institute, UNICEF, and an Afghan businessman, provided aid to families in various villages and the Dewagal Valley of Chawki District, Kunar Province.
In this process, the joint committee distributed to 170 families the following items per family: a mattress, a pillow, a bucket, a jug, a thermos, a washbasin, a shovel, and a pickaxe. Additionally, 100 tents were provided to the most severely affected families. UNICEF supplied each family with 4 water barrels and 4 packets of water purification tablets. The Nasir Charity Foundation provided each family with 1 seer (approximately 7 kg) of rice, 5 liters of oil, 1 seer of beans, 1 kg of green tea, a hygiene kit, 30 tents, and a kitchen set. An Afghan businessman distributed to 47 families the following items per family: 1 thermos, 1 jug, and 1 tarpaulin sheet.
The recipient families expressed their satisfaction with the continuous support of the working committees, describing it as effective.
