An MoU on Joint Cooperation Signed between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and Afghan Aid Organisation Worth Nearly One Million Dollars

Today, on Monday, Haji Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the General Director of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met at his office with Abdul Rahman Tariq, Program Manager of the Afghan Aid Organization, and Mohammad Halim, Project Manager of the Organization.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb, while extending a warm welcome to the delegation, stated that the environment for humanitarian activities is open to all institutions in the country, and they must continue implementing their projects with sincerity and transparency.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb also expressed appreciation to all members of the Afghan Aid Institute's working team for their active role in delivering aid to the earthquake-affected people of Kunar Province, emphasizing that these assistance efforts must continue.
In turn, Abdul Rahman Tariq, Program Manager of the Afghan Aid Organization, expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive cooperation of this authority with institutions and added that the Organization has been actively providing assistance to the people of Afghanistan in various sectors for the past 43 years, striving to deliver this aid promptly to those in need.
It is noteworthy that at the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding worth nine hundred ninety-nine thousand two hundred ninety-three (999,293) dollars was signed between the two parties. Under this memorandum, the Afghan Aid Organization will distribute cash assistance to 1,830 affected families in Chawki and Nogal districts of Kunar Province as follows: 
- To 1,275 eligible families, $282 each for procuring non-food items;  
- To 424 affected families, $312 each;  
- To 97 families, $151 each;  
- And to 34 at-risk families, $181 each in cash.  

Additionally:  
- To 1,034 families, $96 each for animal feed;  
- To 1,830 families, $24 each for hygiene materials and other essential items;  
- And to 1,830 families, $21 each in cash for returning to normal life, including prayer mats, children's toys, and other necessary items.
