An MoU for joint cooperation was signed between ANDMA and the International Rescue Committee, with a total value of 331,429$.

Today in morning, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with His Excellency Mohammad Amir Ahmar, Acting Head of the International Rescue Committee at his office and signed the memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb first spoke about previous collaborations with this committee and emphasized strengthening relationships with institutions to enhance the level of assistance provided to deserving people. He also noted that aid packages should not be so small that transportation and distribution costs outweigh their value.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Amir Ahmar, the Acting Head of the International Rescue Committee, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with the aforementioned authority. He provided details about the project to be implemented and stated that, in accordance with the existing memorandum, they will collaborate with the provincial offices of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority in four provinces to distribute cash assistance for food supplies to deserving individuals.
It is noteworthy that the memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation between the two entities, valued at a total of three hundred thirty-one thousand four hundred and twenty-nine (331,429) US dollars, was signed. Under this agreement, it is planned to distribute 80 US dollars in two installments to each of 608 families in Khost province, 664 families in Logar province, and 812 families in Bamyan province for food supplies. Additionally, 160 US dollars will be distributed in four installments to each of 466 other families in Kunduz province for food supplies.
