An MoU was Signed Between ANDMA and ODSAD Institute Valued at $64,196

Today on Sunday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Head of the Organization for Development Services and Agricultural Development (ODSAD), Honorable Baba Khan Wafaie, at his office and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
At the outset, Alhaj Turabi Sahb warmly welcomed the ODSAD delegation, noting that the people of Afghanistan frequently suffer from natural disasters and require urgent and effective assistance. He further emphasized that the Authority has facilitated necessary provisions for organizations to distribute their humanitarian aid.
Subsequently, Mr. Wafaie, Head of ODSAD, provided details about the proposed project, stating that under this initiative, cash assistance will be distributed to affected families in coordination with and in the presence of the provincial directorate officials of the Disaster Management Authority.
It is noteworthy that at the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum valued at a total of $64,196 (sixty-four thousand one hundred ninety-six dollars) was signed between the two parties. Under this agreement, $550 in cash assistance will be distributed to 39 affected families in the Ashkmesh district of Takhar Province to repair their homes. Additionally, for 15 families in need of emergency shelter, portable shelters measuring 30 square meters, valued at $2,000 per family, will be constructed.
