Two MoUs on Joint Cooperation were Signed Between ANDMA and World Vision and Kuak Organizations

Today in morning, on Sunday, the Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, held a separate meetings at his office with Mr. Abdul Wareth Karimi, the Central and Eastern Zone Responsible for Kuak Organization, and Mr. Abdul Wahab Arash, the Responsible for World Vision Organization in Kabul, and signed Memoranda of Understanding for joint cooperation with them.
In these separate meetings, Honorable Turabi Sahb encouraged the officials of these organizations to provide even more assistance, taking into account the needs of the people. He added that the people of Afghanistan require support in various sectors, and that through its provincial directorates, the Authority has created the groundwork for the effective operations of organizations in the provinces.
At the same time, the officials of these organizations described Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority as an excellent partner organization and, in addition to expressing their appreciation for the Authority's staff, committed to the transparent and timely implementation of projects.
It is noteworthy that under the first Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the Authority and Kuak Organization with a total value of sixteen million, eight hundred fifty-three thousand, fifty-five Afghanis (16,853,055 AFN), the aforementioned organization will distribute one health kit to each of 13,266 families in the provinces of Samangan, Balkh, Sar-e Pol, Faryab, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, and Badakhshan and will also provide health awareness through a one-day training workshop.
Similarly, under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Authority and World Vision Organization with a total value of two hundred thirty-four thousand and fifteen dollars (234,015 USD), the aforementioned organization will distribute 80 dollars in cash to each of 598 families every month for three months. Additionally, a number of these families will receive tools for cleaning canals and water networks, such as shovels, picks, buckets, wheelbarrows, gravel, and cement, and the "Cash for Work" program will be implemented.
