The Disaster Management Directorate of  Nangarhar Province Distributes Cash Assistance to 62 Earthquake-Affected Families

Under a memorandum of understanding signed between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and the CDRO organization, the Nangarhar Province Disaster Management Directorate, with technical support from the aforementioned organization and financial assistance from the Cordaid organization, distributed cash aid to 62 families affected by the recent earthquake in the Dara-e-Noor district of the province.
In this assistance process, following a survey, each affected family received 10,215 Afghanis (equivalent to approximately 150 USD). A total of 633,330 Afghanis was allocated for these families.
It is worth mentioning that the CDRO organization’s survey process is ongoing, and additional aid will soon be distributed to other eligible families.
