The Acting Head of ANDMA, under the guidance of the esteemed Amir ul Mu'minin, (May Allah protect him), visited the flood-affected areas of Logar province and emphasized the provision of assistance to the victims

On Tuesday morning, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the acting head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, accompanied by His Excellency Hafiz Mohammad Yousuf Hammad, the Director of Information and Publications of the Authority, traveled to Logar province to assess the situation of the people affected by the recent floods.
During this visit, the head of the Authority, along with His Excellency Qari Noorullah Mahmood, the head of the Disaster Management Department of Logar province, and other local officials, inspected the flood-affected villages of Haroonkhail and Sarfi in the center of the province. During the visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb met with the local residents, expressed his condolences and sympathy to the families affected by the floods and listened closely to their problems, needs and suggestions.
After hearing the reports and perspectives of the people, Alhaj Turabi Sahb instructed the provincial authorities to urgently take necessary measures to address the needs of the affected individuals, conduct a thorough assessment of the damages, and deliver immediate assistance.
Additionally, the head of the Authority visited the flood path in Sarfi village and spoke with the local residents.
In conclusion, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi emphasized that providing aid to the victims of natural disasters, effectively managing risks and mobilizing resources to prevent further damage are among the top priorities of the Authority.
Furthermore, the head of the Authority approved an urgent preventive project worth one million Afghanis in Logar province.
