The process of setting up tents in multiple locations to provide temporary shelter for earthquake victims in Kunar province is underway 

Since yesterday, Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, utilizing its available resources and in collaboration with its partners, has initiated the installation of tents in various locations to provide temporary shelter for earthquake victims whose homes have been completely destroyed or are at risk due to the earthquake in Kunar province.
The central and provincial staff of this authority, in addition to actively participating in search and rescue operations, transferring the injured, providing medical services, distributing hot meals and other activities, are working to establish temporary shelters for earthquake victims in various villages of the Noor Gull, Chawkay and Khas Kunar districts to ensure dignified living conditions for their fellow citizens.
It is worth mentioning that Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority is committed to working alongside its partners to provide effective and timely services until the very last moment.
