A memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth $142,454 was signed between ANMDA and the Afghanistan Women’s Foundation for joint cooperation

On Monday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Acting President of the Afghanistan Women’s Foundation, Abdul Jabbar Yousufi, at his office.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb welcomed the delegation from the foundation and stated that they are pleased to distribute aid to affected families during the blessed month of Ramadan. He also expressed gratitude to the entire team of the foundation for their cooperation with the afflicted people of Afghanistan.
He further emphasized that the foundation should deliver aid to the affected families as soon as possible so they can benefit from the assistance during the blessed month of Ramadan.
Subsequently, Abdul Jabbar Yousufi, Acting President of the Afghanistan Women’s Foundation, said that they aim to provide aid to the Afghan people through various means and distribute it to deserving individuals.
It is worth mentioning that the signed MoU, valued at $142,454 (one hundred forty-two thousand four hundred fifty-four dollars), will facilitate the distribution of food items to 1,000 flood-affected families in the Burka district of Baghlan province. Each family will receive food supplies worth $120, including a 50 kg sack of flour, a 24.5 kg sack of rice, 10 liters of cooking oil, 7 kg of beans, two packets of salt, 1 kg of dates, 1 kg of green tea, and 7 kg of sugar.
