The Construction of a Standard Camp for Forcibly Returned Migrants Progresses Rapidly in Nemroz Province

The Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority’s Nemroz Provincial Directorate has initiated the construction of a standard and well-equipped camp in Nemroz Province to effectively, swiftly, and systematically address the situation of forcibly returned migrants. This camp is being developed under the guidance of the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi and is progressing steadily and earnestly.
The camp is being established in the strategic area of Pul-e Abrisham, with the primary objective of providing a temporary, safe and well-equipped shelter for migrants forcibly returned from neighboring countries. The camp’s construction plan takes into account all urgent and essential needs of the migrants, including the provision of toilets, bathrooms, a drinking water system, electricity infrastructure, a health clinic, a mosque and other vital services.
Drawing on the successful experience of constructing the standard camp in Torkham, Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority is striving to ensure that this center is equipped with all necessary facilities to meet the immediate needs of returnees.
Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority remains committed to providing essential facilities for fellow citizens returning to their homeland from neighboring countries.
