Distribution of Cash and Food Aid to 1,006 Families of Martyrs, Wounded and Affected Individuals in Dewa Gul Valley, Chawkay District, Kunar Province

The joint committee of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs of Kunar, with the support of aid organizations, charitable institutions, and philanthropists, distributed cash and food assistance over the past four days to 1,006 families of martyrs, wounded and affected individuals in various areas of Dewa Gul Valley, Chawkay District, Kunar Province, who were impacted by the recent earthquake.
In this regard, the following distributions were made:
- Haji Khan Agha: Assisted the families of 32 martyrs, with 31 families receiving 6,000 AFN each and one family receiving 12,000 AFN.
- Haji Malik: Supported the families of 24 martyrs, with 21 families receiving 2,000 AFN each and 3 families receiving 3,000 AFN each.
- Dr. Enayat-ur-Rahman: Provided 5,000 AFN to each of the families of 25 martyrs.
- Professor Nematullah Karyab: Distributed 5,000 AFN to each of 150 families of martyrs, wounded, and affected individuals.
- Ezzatullah Qarizada: Gave 3,000 AFN to each of 70 families.
- Haji Bilal and his associates: Provided 5,000 AFN to each of the families of 14 martyrs.
- Matiullah Mukhlis Charitable Foundation: Distributed raw meat to 23 families.
- Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi Charitable Foundation: Provided 5,000 AFN to each of 135 families.
- Omid Charitable Foundation: Gave 2,000 AFN to each of 175 families.
- Subhanullah: Distributed 5,000 AFN to each of the families of 7 martyrs.
- Haji Khalid (representing the Industry and Mining Sector): Provided 5,000 AFN to each of 80 families.
- Al-Mawasat Charitable Foundation: Supported 20 orphans, with 19 receiving 4,000 AFN each and one receiving 3,500 AFN.
- Qari Nasirullah: Gave 3,000 AFN to each of 13 families.
- Molvi Muslim: Distributed 1,000 AFN to each of 30 families.
- Ruhullah: Provided 2,000 AFN to each of 20 families.
- Haji Khan Agha Charitable Foundation: Distributed 3,000 AFN to each of 75 families and 6,000 AFN to each of 24 additional families.
- Haji Sangar and Belgium Mosques: Provided 10,000 AFN to each of 83 families.
- Haji Subhanullah: Gave 5,000 AFN to each of 17 families.
- Haji Imran: Distributed food items, including flour, rice, oil, lentils, beans, sugar, salt, and dry green tea, to 15 families.
It is noteworthy that the aid was organized in such a way that if a family had multiple martyrs or wounded individuals, separate assistance was provided for each martyr or wounded person.
The recipients expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the authorities, aid organizations and philanthropists for their support.
