The Director General of ANDMA Honors Seventeen National Traders from the Country for Assisting Victims of the Recent Kunar Earthquake

Today in evening, the esteemed Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met at his office with seventeen national traders from the country who, in the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Kunar Province, had cooperated and provided assistance to the victims through this directorate, and expressed his profound appreciation to them.
In this gathering, Alhaj Turabi Sahb, while conveying his thanks for the cooperation of the national traders, stated that the timely and responsible aid provided by traders to the victims of natural disasters serves as a symbol of national solidarity and a deep sense of responsibility toward the people. He added that Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority is committed to further strengthening and institutionalizing this culture of selflessness, benevolence and support for those affected across the country. To that end, today we are honoring a group of traders who, through this directorate, extended help to the victims of the recent incident in Kunar.
Similarly, the esteemed Syed Ahmad Silab, one of the national traders from the country, spoke on behalf of the others and, while expressing gratitude for the directorate's recognition, assured that the national traders remain ever ready to support the affected populace and collaborate with Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority at any time. He emphasized that aiding the victims is both an Islamic and a moral obligation, and they will continue to strive to stand by the people during hardships and play an effective role in such situations.
At the conclusion, appreciation plaques were individually presented to each of these traders by the Director General  of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority in recognition of their cooperation and assistance. In reciprocation, as a gesture of respect and honor, they offered gifts to Alhaj Turabi Sahb and draped a chapan—a traditional robe of esteem—over his shoulders.
