An MoU was Signed Between ANDMA and Afghanistan Empowerment Organisation Valued at $383,797

Today On Tuesday, His Excellency Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met and held discussions with Mr. Abdul Hadi Karimi, Director of the Afghanistan Empowerment Organisation .
Alhaj Turabi Sahb welcomed the institute’s delegation and noted that two months ago, a similar memorandum was signed with the institute, expressing his pleasure at signing another agreement today. He stated that through this initiative, approximately 16,905 families will benefit from assistance.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb further emphasized that any project implemented in any province must adhere to full transparency, ensuring that people benefit from the project’s outcomes in a timely manner.
The Director of the Afghanistan Empowerment Institute stated that the institute provides assistance to people in various sectors, with a portion of this aid dedicated to those affected by natural and non-natural disasters.
It is worth mentioning that the memorandum, valued at $383,797, was signed to provide food and cash assistance to 16,905 poor and disaster-affected families across all districts of Kunduz and Baghlan provinces over the course of one year. Specifically, in Kunduz, 11,132 families will receive aid, while in Baghlan, 5,773 families will benefit. The aid includes monthly distributions of 50 kg of flour, 4.55 liters of oil, 6.25 kg of lentils, and 0.5 kg of salt. Additionally, in Kunduz, 1,962 families, and in Baghlan, 981 families affected by natural disasters will each receive cash assistance of 2,900 Afghanis.
